EDEN ROCK | saint barths

STAY Where people go to see-and-be-seen, Eden Rock is the effortlessly stylish and sophisticated choice for an indulgent visit to Saint Barths. Designed by Jane Mathews, the hotel is family-owned and represented by the Oetker Collection. While glitzy and glamorous, the property still feels island-appropriate and fresh with its oh-so-French red and white motif. The resort appeals to a rather wide range of clientele, from honeymooners to those looking for a bit of party. One thing is certain, a stay at Eden Rock Saint Barths is never boring. Right in the middle of the action, it sits square in the center of famed Saint Jean beach, where elevated boutique shops, restaurants and bars are all within a short stroll of the hotel.

Many of the resort’s rooms are built into the rock the property sits on, and all feature local art and have their own quirky personality splashed with pops of color and natural textures. We’re especially fond of the Rock Rooms, which sit right on the water’s edge.

CHEVAL BLANC RANDELHI | maldives

STAY Black, white and gorgeous all over, Cheval Blanc is the epitome of Indian Ocean chic. Designed by the brilliant Jean-Michel Gathy, it embodies a perfect marriage between bright contemporary and fresh rattan and bamboo accents that make the property seem to have been built straight from its surroundings. Each overwater villa boasts cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and expansive terraces which offer unobstructed views of the shimmering turquoise water below. The property is even perfumed by its own blend, appropriately named Island Chic, developed by the nose of Christian Dior, François Demachy, with notes of driftwood, cedar, Tonka bean and cardamom.

Cheval Blanc Randelhi is spread among six private islands, one of which is dedicated entirely to the resort’s spa. The 46 loft villas are connected by wooden walkways that seem to hover over the water, and offer absolutely privacy. A private butler, referred to as an alchemist, is available to guests, and handles every detail of your stay.

STAY Perched cliffside in Santorini’s Imerovigli, a village known for some of the island’s most breathtaking views, Grace Hotel by Auberge is a dreamy Grecian retreat. J.K. Place | capri

STAY Wildly stylish and filled with history, the island of Capri’s J.K. Place is a sophisticated spot to explore one of Italy’s most sought after gems. Set cliffside, J.K. Place has just 22 rooms and unobstructed views of the coastline and Mediterranean. Conceptualized by famed Florentine architect and interior designer, Michele Bönan, the property feels like a piece of artwork floating above the sea.
